A graduate of the Paris Music and Dance Conservatory (CNSMDP) and of University of Paris VIII, Tatiana Julien has danced for the Cie 72/73, Nathalie Pernette, Thomas Lebrun and Olivia Grandville. In 2011, she founded C’Interscribo, bringing together the influences of her numerous collaborations. She has five original works to her credit La Mort & l’Extase (2012), the three-part Douve (2012, 2013, 2014) and Ruines (2014). She has recently begun work on Initio, a new dance opera, with composer Pedro Garcia-Velasquez and Le Balcon. Tatiana Julien was named choreographer from 2015 to 2017 for Dancing Museums, a European program under the direction of the Briqueterie. In 2016, she participated in the project DIALOGUES, kicked off by Royaumont, the CNSMDP and the CNDC d’Angers. In January 2015 Tatiana Julien began a three year stint as associate artist at the Espace des Arts, Scène nationale at Chalon-sur-Saône.
