Studio residency

Artists residencies are a major part of the CDC mission. Known under the designation “accueil-studio” (open-studios), they are a tool for supporting artistic research and the creation of new works. They also help reinforce the presence of artists locally by encouraging presentations of their work as well as other cultural events. These short-term residencies, which last only a week or two and involve numerous groups each season, bring life to the site, in turn guiding dancers in their experimentation and outreach.
